Meet Andreas Farmakalidis

Andreas Farmakalidis is running for California State Assembly in District 40 to bring strong representation, common-sense solutions, and opportunity to every family in our community.

An immigrant, veteran, educator, and community leader, Andreas has spent his life serving others. He is the founder of California MusicBox in Northridge and a college professor, helping students gain the skills they need to succeed in life and career.

Andreas is also serving as President of the North Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, a Rotarian, and a volunteer with local nonprofits—working side-by-side with parents, small businesses, and neighbors to make the Valley stronger. His experience as a per diem advisor to the European Union gives him a unique understanding of global issues that affect California’s economy and future.

Above all, Andreas is a proud husband and father raising his family here in the San Fernando Valley. He knows the challenges families face every day—and he’s ready to fight for better schools, safer neighborhoods, and more affordable living for us all.
